Lovely lovely flowers! I really find flowers so beautiful, so pleasant to the eyes. Wonders of nature. :)
2011, what a year it has been!
Busy and hectic,
Tiring but fulfilling.
At times, hope was just a gleam.
It was the love month, then.
Oh, the unexpected reward of such hard work came!
It was beyond words to describe such appreciation.
Dubbed as the gadget year,
Bought, won and received techie items.
Dubbed as the foodie year,
Had lunches or dinners in never-tried restaurants multiple times.
Dubbed as the friendship year,
I befriended people whom I have never talked to.
Went to reunions and reaching out.
Kept in touch with friends.
They were awesome!
Dubbed as the exploration year,
Went to Enchanted and to other places.
Accepted challenges.
Took chances.
Dubbed as the speak-now year,
Confronted different people countless times.
At times where I felt I became a victim
Of injustice or unfair treatment,
Of disrespect,
Or of anything that was really wrong.
It was a wonderful year,
Amidst the ups and downs.
Along the way,
There were lessons and experiences
To which I will value
As I continue this journey.
Cheers to the new year ahead! :)
I was walking in a dark street with deep thoughts
I turned a corner and I entered a well-lit street.
Christmas lights tracing the lines of the walls,
with trees being graciously covered with lights.
Those lights were glowing to me.
Casting its soft dim light in the way.
I could feel its warmth.
It was comforting.
I stopped and stared for a while.
Caught mesmerized by its beauty.
I thought the color of the lights was romantic.
I walked along the alley,
darting my eyes from left to right.
I found myself beaming with delight.
Ayala Triangle Lights and Sound Show
I was really happy to catch the Lights and Sound Show just before it was about to start. It was really unexpected because I thought the show just ended. There were a lot of people and then all of a sudden, the show started. So my friend and I quickly went to the front of the Ayala Triangle to record the show (in bigger picture).
The colorful lights were just so awesome! I felt like we were in some dream land as we walked. We saw lights everywhere. I felt like I could just stare at them blankly. There was also some smoke effect and the snow flakes projected which I did not see it coming at first.
I love this korean drama so much!! I just finished watching it! It is an action-packed series with korean politics involved (just fictitious but could be applicable), heroism, good vs. bad, searching for identity and romance is also included. A lot of twists and turns and I felt so many mixed emotions (happy, sad, nervous, afraid, betrayed, loss, anger, frustration, wonder and more). It was really amazing and most of the time the ending of each episode is open-ended so I felt like wanting to watch the next episode at once! :)

Watched Seussical (a musical theater production about the stories written by Seuss - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seussical). It was a fundraising activity of my high school alma mater wherein we watched the production and the ticket sales proceeds will be used to help the people in need. The casts (from Repertory Philippines) were fantastic! I love the costumes and their props (except for the bird’s nest being in the wheelchair.. that was just odd!). The backdrop was really nice! The music is great as well and the casts all have great voices and their diction was clear too. The story was simple, it was actually a children’s story. Some of the adults got bored and slept through it. I did enjoy it, though. :)
